With 4 decades of experience, Stuart re-skins taiko drums of all sizes, using premium cowhide. His meticulous process ensures each drum delivers a deep, resonant tone. Need a custom drum? Stuart offers personalized drum building for shime-daiko, okedo-daiko, nagado-daiko, and of course Odaiko. Each drum is crafted with care, ensuring a balance between durability and powerful sound.
Djembe Reskinning & Repairs
Stuart offers professional reskinning for djembe & djundjuns using high-quality goat & cow skins, He also offers ring, rope, and webbing replacements, as well as bearing edge adjustments, for acoustic and aesthetic improvements. Newly configuring with 3 rings, often requires re-shaping the top 2” of the drumshell.
